You can best get to us via using the suburban trains. All trains S1-S8 stop at the stations “Isartor“ and “Rosenheimer Platz“. You can get off at either one of them; Alternatively, the cable car Nr. 17 stops at the station “Deutsches Museum“, from there it is only a few minutes walk until you reach “Wirtshaus in der Au“.

Approaching from the highway A91 Munich- Salzburg
If you are approaching from the highway A91 – direction Salzburg, you will reach the district “München-Ramersdorf“. When you leave the highway, keep straight. You are now driving on “Rosenheimerstraße“. Continue on this street for 2 km until you reach an ultimate crossing, where you can only choose between turning left or right. Turn left. When you reach the next traffic light (in front of the bridge) turn left onto “Zeppelinstraße“. Continue on “Zeppelinstraße“ until the next crossing. Turn left onto “Schwarzstraße“. You are now heading straight towards “Lilienstraße“ and “Wirtshaus in der Au“.
Approachin from the highway A95 Munich- Garmisch-Partenkirchen
If you are approaching from from the highway A95 – direction Garmisch- Partenkirchen you will end up at “Luise-Kieselbachplatz“ at the end of the highway. Keep right and follow the street “Mittlerer Ring“ . Take the exsit “Grünwald/Giesing/Stadion/Zoo“ and leave the “Mittlerer Ring“. Turn left at the next traffic light onto “Pilgersheimer Straße“. From now on keep straight. “Pilgersheimer Straße“ eventually turns into “Entenbachstraße“, which tuns into “Falkenstraße“, which ultimately becomes “Lilienstraße“.
Approaching from the city center,
Approaching from “Karlsplatz Stachus“ continue on “Sonnenstraße“ until “Sendlinger Tor Platz“. From here, continue on “Blumenstraße“. When you reach “Papa-Schmidt Straße“, keep right. Continue on this street, it will lead you straigh onto “Frauenhoferstraße“. Keep straight and cross the bridge “Reichenbachbrücke“. At the second trafic light after the bridge, trun left onto “Falkenstraße“. “Falkenstraße“ will lead you straight on to “Lilienstraße“.
