The sour cherry—often called a “Weichsel” in the Alpine region—has particularly juicy flesh and a slightly tart and astringent flavor. In this fine brandy, it initially appears somewhat reserved on the nose but unfolds its full aroma on the palate, resulting in a brilliant fruity delight.
